Summary
- Provide high level support to the Payroll Manager.
Essential Functions
- Work closely with Payroll Manager to administer payroll for 1200+ employees across multiple states.
- Serve as the point of contact for payroll matters ensuring cases are resolved as quickly as possible with a focus on providing superior customer service.
- Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees’ hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, garnishment, and other information.
- Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge.
- Provide payroll data to worker’s compensation carrier.
- Answer employee and supervisors’ questions regarding payroll, deductions, and accruals.
- Conducts various quality assurance processes.
- Prepare reports for the leadership team as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Payroll Manager.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, televisions, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

- Workday Payroll experience is a plus but not required.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in office administration or related field preferred.
- Payroll experience is required.
